However, this has only been the case for a few years.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the age of 17, she was diagnosed with Crohn&#8217;s disease, one of the most common chronic inflammatory bowel diseases. This was followed by long years of suffering, countless medications with unbearable side effects, several operations, lengthy stays in clinics and hospitals.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 40-year-old has been symptom-free since 2019, thanks to hypnosis, as she says herself. She blames her illness on traumatizing experiences in her childhood and youth. Thanks to hypnosis, the dark feelings from back then lost their effect, she was able to free herself from anger and hatred, and was finally able to heal.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Life has changed completely for Zehira.
